Osteopathy training is very much “on the job”, which for me began in 2003 at Oxford Brookes University. I graduated in 2008 with a First Class Honours degree. Prior to practising as an osteopath I practised as a sports massage therapist.
I was drawn to osteopathy after my wife derived great benefit from osteopathy while pregnant with our first child. I feel tremendously privileged to practise as an osteopath, and am convinced that osteopathy has an enormous amount to contribute to the health of the nation. It is all about working with the body to find health. It is not about imposing something from the outside. Above all, it is a deep respect for the body and mind.
